Petrokem Petroprime® ZNR-40 is a two component, high quality zinc rich epoxy primer specially developed to meet the increasing demand for zinc based anticorrosive primers. The product is manufactured using epoxy resin base and polyamide activator combined with a high percentage of zinc dust (Minimum of 40%). The product is recommended for the protection and maintenance of all steel structures in civil engineering applications, storage/ballast tanks, ship hulls, decks, steel pipe lines, Cargo oil tanks, bridges, off shore structures, radial gates, oil installations etc. The product acts as a high quality anticorrosive primer for steel, carbon steel and it can be applied on damaged areas of galvanised steel substrates. The product when applied as part of a complete coating system will protect the surface against highly corrosive elements such as salty sea spray and therefore is recommended for coastal areas.
