Petrokem Flexseal® TG
Petrokem Flexseal® TG is a high quality two component cementitious grout specially developed to be used for Horizontal and vertical surfaces. The Product is specially designed to be used when a flexible tile grout is the prime requirement. The product can be used to fill tile grooves (as a tile grout) and is recommended to grout granite, marble, ceramic, porcelain, terrazzo, mosaic, natural stone tiles or other similar tiles. The product should be used as a two component application by mixing the base powder and the liquid activator. The dried product is flexible and waterproof and is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. The product is recommended to be used for grouting of areas which are exposed to sunlight and all other weather conditions. Leaking water retaining structures can be waterproofed and repaired using the product.
- Gradually mix 3 volumes of Petrokem Flexseal® TG base (powder) to 1 volume of Petrokem Flexseal® TG activator (liquid) in a suitable clean container under constant stirring with a suitable mechanical/electrical device such as an electric slow speed stirrer. Once addition is complete five minutes of further thorough mixing is recommended. mix thoroughly to obtain a paste of smooth consistency. Mixing should be slow to avoid air entraining. The mixed material is now ready to use and the pot life is approximately 1 hour.
- Apply the mixture using a suitable instrument such as rubber or plastic spatula for the application. Remove excess grout from the tile surface with a wet cloth or wet sponge.
